We've seen countless situations where people have sold items to neighbours, friends, and even the mailman for a fraction of the fair market value.
Ask yourself if your relationship with the interested person is such that you are willing to give the item to them outright. If it is, then do so! Otherwise, do not sell anything yourself. It’s just not possible to know fair market values unless you are engaged in selling personal property on a daily basis. |
